Until he plays this well his sophomore season I don't want to anoint him second pairing and I like how young guys have to more or less steal the role.
Having said that thoroughly impressed with his play and development this year and thinks he absolutely is a top 4 in the future, maybe very near future.
I'd entertain him in the second L spot currently occupied by Gardiner if they can acquire a big name D (Carlson?)

I feel like they should do what they need to to make the product on the ice as potent as they can. That means giving better players more minutes and poopty players less minutes. Especially in the playoffs. Throw him in there. We're already this deep anyway, I don't think he can make it worse. The less Hainsey/Zaitsev the better. |
