I’ll admit pens were snake bitten tonight on some plays they normally finish. However the flyers have done well on PK in both games which so far is something to watch

agreed.

they ALWAYS win the first faceoff too which is an automatic 20 seconds right off the bat then the ensuing struggle to gain the zone again.

That's for sure. Their PK has been terrific and it's frustrating the Penguins.

Flyers are stacking the line. It’d be good to see the drop pass receiver flip the puck in high and let the puck dropper pursue with speed.

Just unlucky overall. Pens had what, 3 or 4 posts? They outshot the flyers and had almost 3 times the offensive zone time the flyers had.

Also, wtf some of those calls rofl. The one that led to the first flyers goal was a joke. Sheary was really boarded 10 minutes before, no call, but that somehow was a boarding.

You resumed the game perfectly. We couldn't buy a goal tonight. Move on and get the next game on their ice.

I don't care. Trust me when I tell you they've now motivated the Pens. Let the Flyers enjoy this game because it's the last game they will win this series.

This. ^ Thank you. Let's play some Penguins hockey next game and embarrass them.

Wes McCauley working this game. Could be a factor, and if he is it won't be in a good way for the Pens, probably.

I don’t know about embarrassing them, but I know Geno and Sid will be motivated after that bullpoop and start taking over.

Now we have a series, much more fun this way.

And, please, let's not whine about the officiating. You lost, get over it.
The Flyers responded and played a better game and Elliott had a great bounce back. I felt all along this series was gonna go 7 and I still feel that way.

Can't wait for Sunday!

I wouldn't even waste my time. They are the most delusional fan base in the NHL.

I missed what ref made that call against Hornqvist but I heard Tim Peel's name mentioned. This is my favorite coach (Boudreau) rant against Peel:

The Pens would have lost that game regardless but the officiating was horrendous. If it favored the Pens we would hear endless rants from Flyers fans (and others) about how much the league loves Crosby and wants him to win.

We got more calls in our favor, but the first one to give them the PP goal was extremely weak.
