I would say BMS is a lot like the Sherlock Holmes novels/Great Gatsby. The story is presented through the view point of one character the reader, or in this case viewer experiences the story as if he were that character, but really the story is at its core about another character. In this case, Alex Morran is our Watson and Thad Castle is Holmes. Although the story follows Morran, its really about Thad.

And yeah, I just (frank)ing compared BMS to classic literature. Don't @ me.

I don’t see how anything touches Southpark. I could never get into Simpsons, but I can recognize why.

I hated Futurama.

Freaks and Geeks was good, but its cast suggests that it should be better than it actually was. Granted, they were all rookies back then, but I came away slightly disappointed. I also enjoyed Undeclared, which is was Judd Apatow's other show.

It was ever so slightly before my time. I remember watching it in like the 2nd or 3rd grade at a friend's house and thinking it was awesome, but I am positive elementary school me didn't actually get the jokes.

This. It was something that was on after school and I found it so weird but it stuck to me as amazing. It’s probably like Welcome Back Kotter or Doug. Loved when I was a kid, don’t want it ruined by rewatching it.
