Too bad Kadri didn't do that to Marchand.

I despise Marchand more than any other player. I hate the free passes he gets for being the dirtiest piece of poop in the league.

I have to say that as a whole, this is probably going to be the most exciting NHL playoff season in a very long time. All these match-ups are going to be major battles.

I loved when Neal kneed him in the head. I cheered it. I can't wait til somebody puts him out long term. That scumbag deserved 40 games for what he did to Johansson.

It's funny, but I wasn't aware of the type of player Marchand was at that time and really thought Neal was a massive POS. Don't get me wrong, I think Neal is a dirty player, but he's not in the same realm or spectrum Marchand.

Jackets tie it up! I hope every game of that series goes to OT.

Really? I'm sure a couple of the series aren't going more than 5 or 6. (knock on wood)

Doesn't mean they won't be exciting battles.

Atleast 3 of the games so far showed zero signs of "battles." Ill pray to the hockey gods every matchup (besides a certain one) goes the length

Yeah.....that was great. When you watch Cbus, the two guys that constantly stand out are Jones and Panarin.

Never gets old watching Washington fans vacate the stands disappointed.

Yup. Jones is a hell of a player. Panarin with something to prove. 3pts tonight.

Jones and Werenski are probably the best D pair in the playoffs. And Blackhawks screwed themselves out of keeping Panarin by giving Toews that ridiculous contract. He is at MAX a 5mil player. I don't include Kane in that because hes normally a top scorer in the league. Panarin is so good.

Rutherford was onto something (more like on something) with Sergei Plotnikov...

I believe Panarin was already had by the Blackhawks when we got him. Man I thought I'd never see that name again lol

Oh he was. Rutherford sounded like Plotnikov was not a bad consolation prize.

Geno prob also said something along the lines of : "He [plotnikov] is score."

Then Mike Johnston came along

I remember we were all excited when we got Plotz.

Rutherford needs to stick to rehabbing high pedigree dmen that fall out of favor with the clubs who draft them. Just follow hitchCOCK around and take his discards. I think he gave us Cole too.

Hornqvist is a 5 million a year player. Toews is legit 8-9 player on a UFA deal. He’s a number one center but I don’t consider him elite. Good character guy.

According to my Chicago friends, Toews has been playing like an average 2C for the past two or so years. Given that he was the most beloved athlete in that city since Brian Urlacher retired, I feel like them saying that means he must have legit declined. Might not even be an 8-9 mil player.

So even though its the playoffs... Kadri could get 2 games... that'd be massive.

Also learned that 1 playoff game = 10-12 regular season games in the DOPS' mind. Useful to keep in mind in the future, which i'll forget in a day or two anyway.

Anyone else see the footage or Marchand licking Komerovs face/neck last night? What a little dirtbag man.

Anyone else see the DK article about the 2nd PP today? Giving my 2nd unit boys some love.

The 2nd unit accounted for 21% of the Pens PP goals this year in a record breaking PP year.

Play them a little bit more every game. Give each unit a minute per PP sure.

What was wrong with that? I think it is hysterical. You can't rattle him
