Yeah, most folks see the red and green and wonder why the Salvation Army is asking for Christmas donations in April.

That's not bad. That's about what I would have done, except for Patrick. I thought he was going to be more productive, but that was aggressive on my part, not a failing of his - AllInForFlyers
Making prediction like this is difficult at best. I remember discussing it with you. You just didn't take into account his physical issues and how it would affect him. He had the skill level to produce 50 points this year but his skating held him back. had that not been an issue, I think he would've been close to what you predicted for him. |

I really hope Hak just says (frank) it and they try to buzzsaw this team. let the dmen take a ton of chances and punch em in the mouth in game one and try to rattle them. win like 7-4 or something |

That would be fun, but I can't see Hak doing that. He'll have them play their usual system and hope that they can stay out of the box. If they can keep this series 5 on 5 as much as possible, they have a legit shot at pulling an upset. |

Both NHL and AHL squads making the post-season is so nice for development. |

Who are they is the question. It wasn't until the switched from a 2-1 fore check to a 1-2 when the team really started playing well. I don't see them changing that.

They started playing well as soon as they split up Coots/Giroux and Voracek |

I know a lot of people have said TK may be an X factor but I personally think the biggest X factor is Simmonds. You know our top two lines will get it going, but if Simmonds can mentally reset and forget his rough past couple of weeks, start chipping in some goals on that 3rd line AND chip in on PP2 (if he does indeed stay there). |

Doesn't that indicate that the defense is allowed to take chances and has not been playing afraid? |

We may actually have a 2nd PP if he and Sanheim stay on it. Thought they looked great last game |

There are numerous reasons why they started playing well.
