I am with you on someone who criticizes everyone and the coach all the time. By nature, this blog is made to complain about the team and it short comings. We all know, unless you are an idiot, this team will be even better in the next 1-3 years. I can only assume you are referring to those idiots who complain all the time about every move or non move.

To be honest, there are not a lot of them, just a few.

Unless your team is putting up 120 point seasons and winning Cups, there will always be something to complain.

Overall this team has overachieved this season mainly due to the stellar play of the Captain with a big assist to Provy, Ghost, Coots, Jake, TK and Patrick.

While I don’t agree with every move Hakstol makes and I’m still not sure if he is a guy that can coach a team to a Cup, he still deserves recognition for a job well done this season. Getting a bubble team that lacks depth and lost both regular goalies to injury down the stretch into the playoffs is no small accomplishment. Kudos to you, Sir.

And let’s give some credit to the GM. His plan is working and this team is only going to get better over the next few years. Has he mistakes? Of course, all GM’s do. But his mistakes are far outweighed by the job he and his scouts are doing to position this team to be a contender for a long time.
