You could also throw in Jake leading the league in assists too. I mean I think he still is.
- hereticpride

He's 3rd I think without looking it up.

Even so it still proves his point

Provorov is tied for the league lead in goals for defensemen.

Reminder.

Hakstol: Not perfect, but definitely not an idiot

Shutdown Seanie dropped 30-plus

Fraude Giroux dropped 30-plus/100-plus

They have flaws but the high-end players on this team are legit. You don't pull the chute on these players. You get them some damn help and win the freaking Cup!!

Lundqvist is toast. I know he doesn't want to leave the Rangers but he's throwing the rest of his career away with them. They blow top to bottom.
- hereticpride

i want to feel bad for him but i just am not capable of this. CSP in SHAMBLES.

Show me specifically what I said and how that is not consistent with what I said earlier.

Somewhere in a dark, and silent room.. Gerard Gallant is laughing.
- flyer_nutter

Can you imagine that team with Marchessault and Smith still there?.

I'm just thankful for the Panthers. It's been a lot of fun seeing up close and personal one of the best lines in the NHL all season long in Marchy-Karlsson-Smith and 2/3s of it is all thanks to Dale Tallon.

A great season by him, the top defense pair. I was dubious about Elliott, but I own when I am dead wrong

They aren't the best team, but they are a good team. They were definitely good enough to make the playoffs and there is still room for this team to get even better while Giroux and Voracek are legit

Don’t forget Jake topped his career high in points and is near the league lead in assists. Konecny one shy of 25 goals playing throughout the lineup all season. Ghost and Provorov near the tops in points for defenseman...there’s a lot to like about their roster.

It always pleases me in a very sick way to see people apparently smarter than so many fans have it blow up in their face. I'll take Barkov and Hubs on the Flyers though.

Long time since the car flag went up.

Might get the windows broken in this city currently though.

Man, he put together Giroux-Couturier-Voracek, then Provorov-Ghost

He found a way to make that defense not leak like a sieve

He won games with Alex Lyon in net

I say this a lot: None of us will ever agree with every decision, but the one job a coach has is to get star production out of your best players, and he just dropped a 98-point season out here while losing his No. 1 goalie for five weeks and having the most unreliable backup goalie in the league

That man might piss you off, but you can't take that away from him

now now dont talk too highly about the rest of the roster or it will irreparably damage giroux' hart chances. or something like that.

i'm a huge critic of his, and don't want him as our coach.

still, i give him credit. he's steered this wacky ship into the playoffs. all i want is for them to win a cup...if he did that, i'd be thrilled and happy to eat crow.

Nah.

He'll pull a Mats Sundin with this franchise. No way will Lundquist leave in any way but the way he intends to leave.

He's a good coach, man. He's not Scotty Bowman, but I'd take him, flaws and all, over 20 or so of the other coaches in the league

few things in this life have given me the pleasure of just watching him get shelled in s a shutout loss on our ice to propel us into the playoffs.

(frank) csp, now and always.

ps...i'm sure he's a lovely person.
