And these were all "reaches" in the draft right? According the who ?

A "reach" only really applies in hockey to a 1st round pick. Anything beyond that is never consensual therefore it can't be a "reach". Given also that even 1st round guys are crap shoots .........one could make the argument there is no such thing as a "reach" at all in the NHL.

Calgary traded the Girgensons pick to Buffalo as long as Buffalo wasn’t taking Jankowski. Jankowski was Calgary’s guy at 14, they felt they could get him at 21 plus get extra picks.
