People may disagree with me here but I find it funny that no one has a problem with EK skipping out on the Senator's final 3 games. I know he has his reasoning, but he is healthy and if the Sabres were to sit Jack Eichel the last 3 games everyone would be up in arms calling it a tank move and all they want is last place. Last time I checked Ottawa was still in a race for last with the Sabres but it's fine for them to sit their best player, which helps their chances of finishing last. I'm not sure why but it always feels like Canadian teams can get away with anything.

Yes I have, was just pointing out the hypocrisy of how Canadian teams get away with more than teams like the Sabres. Also, that stalker isn't anything new, he has been bothering them for about a year now it only went public recently after the stalker started attacking his wife after she lost her baby. I wonder why wait till now to take time off, why didn't he take time of when he lost his child or when the stalking started, he chose now to do it for whatever reason, then before. The point was that no one cares that EK takes the last few comes off in a tank season, but if it was a Buffalo player like Jack all you would here is how the Sabres are trying to tank again, no matter what the reasoning behind Jack not playing even though he is healthy.

As an outside party to a business agreement between two people, where do you derive the authority to arbitrarily set what someone's labor is worth?


Minimum wage is for high schoolers and people working their way through college, if you want more money, don't try to get it at McD's or a Retail Store, or aspire to being the manager but it is immoral to force someone under compulsion to pay more for a service and see no benefit from that increase. Apply it to your own life, what if I said that as a customer, you didn't pay enough for internet so you have to pay 25% more?

You do know if minimum was 20, skilled jobs would also go up double in pay. All that does is raise prices and your back to the beginning again. This is a global economy gerbe, businesses will just move more overseas.

Someone ask Kyle Okposo, Villie Leino, and Christian Erhoff how producing in contract years worked out for them ? Reinhart has been great as of late. Give him 2-3 years at 4.75-5M annually. If he becomes more consistent it’s a good deal for the Sabres in the short term and the guy gets to hit the bank on his next contract.

I’d prefer ROR out the door first. But say we get one of the wingers at the top of the draft, it is not out of the question that Sam can be moved if a top defenseman is coming back in the deal.
