Bill Peters is supposed to make $1.6 Million next year... can't imagine a situation where the GM makes 1/4th what the coach does.

Not in a million years sir, the CBJ has been in the playoffs three times in its history and never won a series. One year we lost a spot the last day of the season and every other year we have been further down in the basement of the league than the Oil is. We've been terrible many more years than you have been terrible.

But yeah... It seemed like Francis was obsessed with constantly building up prospect depth and then keeping those players in the minor leagues for as long as possible.

Probably the most infuriating part is that he plays exactly the role the team has been missing for 4 years now.

He did a real good job of restocking the team with prospects and picks but the team has become stagnant over the last two years. The problems they have this year are the same problems they had last year and he did nothing to address them.

The guy never took any risks at all, except for the Darling contract, which blew up in his face.
