which part?

that the team has a 3.08 gaa (24th in the league)?...

that price signed a $10.5m aav extension?

that a writer for the montreal gazette called the situation "upside down" when he questions whether neimi or price should be considered as the No.1 goalie?

where I said that "Goaltending and defense, once a hallmark of the Canadiens with goalie Carey Price locking things down in net, has taken a beating this season."

- Michael Pachla

Ya... the last part.

Hard to call a guy out for poor performance when he has no support on Defence and has battled injuries/illness all season.
Mentioning how MTL made such a huge commitment in the same breath also makes it seem like his play has been atrocious... which it has not.
GAA is a TEAM stat, not specifically a goalie stat to determine their worth.

Gerbe, did Reggie Ragland make the pro bowl yet? Another one of your great calls. I’m gonna make a new series highlighting all your horrible calls so you can’t try to change the narrative when you get called out.

So who’s going number 1 now, Allen, no wait Barkley? What you gonna change it to this week.

The bills not getting the #1 or #2 pick is not a fail. Those teams need to be willing to move their picks and at this point it seems like they are content to take Darnold and Chubb.

Who shows up to Pro Days really doesnt matter too much, who gives him a private workout speaks more to who teams want. The Bills didn't attend Rosen or Mayfield pro days but had both for a private workout.

Not trying to be a jerk or cause offense at all:

I've heard from a lot of people that MTL's defense AND goaltending have been a nightmare. Price, injured or ill, hasn't been the same when he's played. He's on a very substantial contract and, despite the fact he didn't get much help in those games, the highest paid goalie in the league should still be a pretty dominant force. I don't think it's the end of the road for Price by any means, but it's completely fair to say that him and the defense haven't been "themselves" this season.

What's the BS part of that?

Edit: Given this season he has had the highest GAA and lowest Sv% of his career, I would have figured MTL saw the same thing.

90% of his even-strength minutes are spent with either Eichel or ROR, and he has 8 points to show for it.

I'll stop beating this dead horse now

With the injuries and the D I read VERY little into his numbers this season. Until the xmas break he was battling chronic fatigue... that right there will blow his numbers from teh first half of the season... then the injury bug bit. He'll be abck to his old self next season... and if they can put a team in front of him it would sure help.

who doesn't show up may be more important...the fact that Haslam is going all jerry jones on the browns management is very troubling...

the best owners are the ones that hire the best people then get the hell out of the way

Hey I argue all the time that Eichel would be over a PPG if he had decent wingers, so I guess I can't completely throw out the logic with Price. It's fair, I just think we may both be giving more benefit to the doubt than is justifiable.

So by this logic the players should be making the roster moves? The same players that include Jonathan nelson Mandela bernier?

I'm having trouble finding how O'Reilly is under rated.

He's paid as a top 20 NHL forward. He was traded for a boatload, and gets the ice time of a franchise center.

How is he under rated?
