I really like Lee and he deserves credit for making himself a much better player, but is this really an important topic with the mess that is the Isles? - ses111
I think every article should be astonishment that Snow is still the GM. |

All articles should be about Ledecky, Malkin, Garth, and Doug at this point. Lee getting more credit does nothing to fix things. Sorry schwein. |

Leddy seems to have some Nelson to his game. This team needs a hard driving coach that will not take BS. - ses111

Lee is a good player and better person, but we should not be getting blogs like this at this point with so many more important issues. |

So tired of quotes like this from the players every single season:
“People can say what they want. We know our roles, we know what we have to do and we know why they want us here. We’re here for a specific reason. We’re not on the PP, we’re not starting in the O zone. We take pride in going against the other teams’ best lines. We want to be out there to stop them, make it hard on them.
“Everyone has their opinion, everyone’s an expert these days. But it doesn’t faze me, it definitely doesn’t faze Clutter. We know what makes us successful. We have had opportunities over the past 20 games or so. It just hasn’t happened.”
https://theathletic.com/2...-cizikas-and-clutterbuck/
This is just another variation of the "us against the world" crap we always see where they say things like "we know what we have in this locker room." Yeah, the whole league knows what we have in that locker room, which is why every team just throws pucks at the net from everywhere on the ice confident that they'll walk away with 5 goals when the Isles get rattled and disorganized.
All talk, all the time. It only means anything if you actually go out at some point and prove people wrong.

The players are as big a problem as Garth and Doug. No leadership at all on this team.

Why go and expend all that energy to do something like that when nobody is held accountable? It's much easier to say it then do it. |

When your team is a mess and you yourself can’t do a (frank)ing thing about it, then there is no shame in relishing in personal accomplishments. I know I’ll be rooting for my boy Lee to pot #40 tonight, and I’ll be ecstatic when he does it, win or lose. |

I have no issue with Lee and I do not think he's looking for a pat on the back, I just think think these type of blogs should be kept for pre-season when there is still hope for the team. Should be plenty other things to write about. |

You are not forgiven. In fact my rage towards you is so extreme, that I shall poop upon your doorstep the next time I’m in New York.

Must protect the country club. I have a major issue if guys like Leddy and Boychuk who have won Cups did not go to the coaching staff and suggest the system be changed earlier. I thought one of points in bringing in Leddy and Boychuk was their experience along with their talent?

I see where you’re coming from, and as an Oiler fan I totally understand the sentiment.
That being said, focusing solely on negativity isn’t the answer either (IMO). I use hockey as an escape of sorts, as well as entertainment. Focusing solely on the negative aspects of my favourite clubs kills my ability to enjoy hockey at all. That’s why I don’t take issue with an article like the one about Lee. If there wasn’t some positivity to enjoy, I’d probably drop hockey all together. |

I know what you mean schwein, but I cannot take any enjoyment from the Isles right now. Ledecky, Malkin, Garth, Doug, and the players beat it out of me. The Botta blogs ripping Garth make me feel better and I want more. |

That’s fair. Nor do I blame the Islanders fanbase for their growing sense of apathy. |

Flames are without their entire top line tonight, and they only have a single forward in the lineup with more than 15 goals.

I literally just popped in to post this
No Monahan or Gaudreau and diaperboy Tkachuk is still out. Not that I ever root for anyone to be hurt or have family problems, but this is good news for the draft. |
