Also, this puts Boston further away, and I like our odds of a TB matchup better than Boston.

Wedgie clearly knew what he was talking about. It's Pat's fault. HANG HIM!

Andersen has played well, but not great. Not sure we can fault him for any of the goals, but still, a timely save would have been nice...

I thought for sure you guys had this one sewn up.

Gave us a good scare there.

Never a dull moment in these matchups.

3-0 now. We're outplaying Tampa by a mile and Andersen has been good. Makes you wonder how UG is gonna spin this in Tampa's favour?

We should keep in mind this was Andersen's first game back, so he might've been a little less sharp than usual, and we were still missing our best player, Komarov.... I mean, Matthews.
- Thecakeisalie

.840 save percentage in the loss and has now surrendered three or more goals in 11 of his past 13 outings.

I would have just kept playing McElhinney and keep resting Andersen for as long as possible, but it hasn't just been the little injury and rust, he's been off for awhile and since the Leafs usually play like poop in front of him, it drastically reduces their odds of success.

Yes off with an injury. With the garbage D in front of him, he has to be awesome most nights....it was his first game back....a little rust is expected. Maybe Babs could have brought him back against a weaker team and not one of the highest scoring teams in the league....but....such is life.

the Hedman goal and the Killorn goal, both went off his glove, he has to make those saves... Can't fault him for the Rielly own-goal or the McDonagh snipe.

It wasn't the D slumbering off the ice like it was shinny.

Just a couple bad bounces and a beauty of a line change and bingo...buzz wrecker
