this was the 2nd most expensive guitar on the guitar center website. it costs $20,000

it is the terry kath signature model of the fender telecaster. terry kath was an original member of chicago (guitarist, singer, and songwriter). he died in his early 30s.

another interesting bit of info that i have is that he died by accidentally shooting himself in the head messing around with one of his guns that he didn't know had a round in the chamber. his last words were "What do you think I'm gonna do? Blow my brains out?"

and then he did.
