2003 actually looked like a lot of Flyers drafts from that period. Get a good player at the very top of the draft, but not much else afterwards.

The thing we are seeing now that we did not see previously with Flyers drafts are later round picks making it through the system to the NHL. Ghost was a 3rd rounder. Lindblom a 5th. Hagg a 2nd round pick.

Konecny and Provorov are thriving, Patrick is really coming on and showing how good of a player he is going to be. Sanhiem looks to be much improved. Certainly the players and their talent and ability deserve most of the credit but I think it's time for some to admit that both Hextall and Hakstol know what they're doing in developing young players.
