Read is a real good 4th line player...
should have been up most of season
would you resign at 900K - wcorvette

Like I said in my last post, I’m not basing the list on the whole season, it was based on how they are playing right now. - BiggE
they bring different things, so yeah kind of a 1A/1B thing.
biggest thing is they bring somehting unique to the party, Manning does not.
For Manning to be ahead of them, he would have to play mistake free hockey |

They played a nearly ideal lineup and won a hockey game. This pleases me |

1. He's been ok
2. Probably, but like others have said I think hextall wanted to see if Weise could provide something since he was under contract.
3. No. Wise is still signed and so is Lehtara. You also have some guys in AHL that seem to be close to ready to handle those 4th line roles. Bardreau, Abel-Kubal, Vecchione and you also have kids like Lazcynski, Strome and others that could eventually fill that role |

Out of all the prospects, Sanheim has the best chance to be the 1B behind Provorov. Provy is pretty much always get the top line matchup with his partner. The hope is Sanheim develops into that guy on the 2nd pair. He just has that ability, it doesnt mean he 'll ever get there, but my hope is going forward he gets a little longer leash to play those 3rd period minutes when up by a goal. |

First time up SanHeim had to be sent down, his confidence was shot at the end.
that is on the player but...
could Hak have handled it better?
Did hexy wait too long to bring SanHeim back up?
just discussion, reality we are splitting hairs whether Hak could have or Hexy should have.
I do think they are doing a real good job in player development. Funny how Hagg coming back fits with Sanheim getting a few games under his belt. I know they are rookies but the experience of the season has made them better players. Maybe the silver lining of playing through losing streaks and an injury break, yes I think Hagg needed some games off, injury gave him them |

i think he has been better than ok, he has been good on the PK and pushing the play out of the zone. I do agree with Weise and lettera you probably dont need him but at 900K, can you lose? I hope they find a way to trade Weise or just bury him in the AHL. Lethera it is what it is, I like his game, just not a 4 mil game |

I don't know. Sanheim looked physically overmatched in his first go-round.
He is, however, a better hockey player than Brandon Manning, so he should be in the lineup, but let's not pretend there was so much good stuff in Sanheim's game when he was up the first time that his being sent down was some sort of miscarriage of justice. He earned the demotion.
While he's here, though, he needs to play.

He has confidence this time around but I've also seen the adjustment to his game that even though he's tall he's not strong like a lot of the Nhl forwards so he takes a ghost approach to puck battles. That in itself has made a big change in his play.
I also notice hak likes pairing ghost provy with the coots line and you are starting to see him put sanheim out with the Patrick line and you can see the skill with Jake lindblom Patrick sanheim it's an absolute joy to watch |

Oh absolutely, but it’s always best to help yourself. I think 95 points or more will get you in so they need at least 10 points in their last 9.
If they win the games that they should win: Rags (2), Carolina, Detroit and the Isles, that’s 10 points right there. Just take care of business and stay focused boys, that’s all I ask. - BiggE
Of course nobody will complain if they get a good convincing win against the Pens in there too |

good call out on the 2nd with SanHeim, it is noticeable ... that 2nd line has some serious potential. Lindbolm does follow a pattern, plays well and doesnt put up points, sticks with it and they start to go in, really smart player, that complements Patrick and lets Jake be Jake. |

Oh absolutely. I was just sayin'...sending a message to a possible playoff opponent and longtime rival, would be welcome. Nothing wrong with aiming high! Plus...(frank) the Pens. |

I personally want the pens to take 1st and let us thrash the capital's in the first round. I think Columbus devils and Panthers all match up well enough with the pens and I would rather see them in the 2nd round with our team having some confidence. I feel like we are now the capital's kryptonite like we once were the pens. |

Lindblom is pretty impressive below the goal line winning puck battles an has pretty soft hands. I'm trying to think of a recent winger who he compares to on the Flyers, maybe Hartnell without the snarl but not the occasional dumb also.

Bill,
Any word on TK? We saw him walking out to his car after the game last night and it looked to be a big struggle for him to walk. |

I'd be quite fine with this scenario.
Avoiding BOS and and Tampa would be ideal. Probably avoiding Pitts would be a good idea too. The other teams, the Flyers would match up with OK, I think. |

Stays up on his skates better than Hartsy as well, but I miss Hartnell. He was pure entertainment.
