I'll be the broken record but I like sanheim with amac. I don't like gudas with manning. It's been bleeding us dry. I try hagg gudas and see if that can help gudas get his game back. Bringing hagg back and putting him back with amac still leaves us with a struggling third pairing

not broken, I hope they play that record

Haag is fully participating in practice and taking pre-game skates. That means he is close.

Cool, they've been saying a 2 week timetable, and if he misses tonight the next game isn't until when the 23rd? Pretty spot on- went down on the 10th according to Bill's blog

Agree with OP though, gotta keep Sanhiem in when Hagg comes back. He's played well enough to stick, better than Manning and marginally better than Gudas.

He needs to play to get better....I thought he was good again last night. Just before his assist ha had that chance where he jumped into the play but took to long to get shot off and he’d it deflected out of play. I f I thought there was a drop off between him and a couple other d then I’d suggest sending him down....but there simply isn’t. We will see if he gets in today, Hagg took the pregame so he’s obviously ready, but I think these are all great for his development going forward.

Sanheim is not going to get any better playing in the minors.

I don’t know if it comes from the coaches or what but he plays way to tentative in the offensive zone. Last night he joined the rush on the wing and it looks like the flyers had numbers and he just dumped it behind their net. Plus the obvious long wind up everyone saw. Extremely frustrating but he needs to play up here and be coached on these things. He has potential

This so many times this.

I'll enjoy the game anyway but a win will make it that much sweeter. Especially for the one who got us suite tickets today

While I agree, I also think it makes no difference especially as a fan.

In other words, who cares? We're not in the know nor should we be.

I would go

Ghost,provy,sanheim,47, Hagg, Gudas

When everyone is back..

I know some people here are ready to write off Hagg after half a season but I like the element he brings

That’s what I would like to see, but I don’t think Hak will sit “dependable” veteran, Manning

People are ready to write off Hagg? My goodness...who?

That's what I will never understand about some folks. People scream "draft and develop," but then can't wait to boo them. Still remember a convo I had last year where Giroux was a bum who got absolutely no grace period for a down season

I think I am fairly consistent -- I don't mind trading picks and prospects to get better. But Hagg's a rookie. Can't he get a couple of seasons before we think he sucks?

I don’t think people want to write Hagg off, I just think that most of us see a higher potential ceiling for Sanheim, Myers and Morin.

I'm not sure how anyone can say that about Morin or Myers at this point.

When one of them plays say 10 to 20 games st the NHL level maybe then

What baffles me is when people say "I don't think he's as good as most people think" people hear "he is the worst player ever I can't believe he's even on this team omg"

Hagg is as one dimensional as it gets at this point. He's young and could develop a mediocre offensive game but right now it's nonexistent. On the other hand, I like the physical play he brings and he holds his own out there defensively. Right now he's a bottom pair guy with second pair potential if he's on a bad team. And that's fine. I don't think he's the worst thing since Brandon Manning, but I don't think he's that great either.
