Why rip Murphy when Rutta, Oesterle and Gustafson are three of the softest defensemen I've ever seen play at the same time for the Hawks? Has anyone initiate ONE hit this whole game versus a "hated" rival? I get the core not willing to hit, they're more concerned about golf now but shouldn't there be more passion by the others?

it was close but allen did not protest and he was looking right at the puck...

64 may have kicked it in; he jams his skate against the puck and allens skate...great effort by 48

Bogie, Puck was already in the net when he kicked Allen's pad. It was hard to see but frame by frame on the HD tv to confirm.

The other play, the ref and/or toronto blew. Refs will eventually learn not to blow that dead unless they are sure. Schenn put it in the net like 3 seconds later. Let the play go and at worst you put time back on the clock and change the goal scorer.

Blues fans are going to blame the refs if they lose but poor play in the last 2 minutes of each period are the real problem.

He’s already ahead of Arbour - 2nd to Bowman - 386 wins behind Bowman - that’s more than 7 seasons at 50 per.

This team is great at passing the puck to someone who has no room to do anything, passing game needs to be more aggressive up ice

I was actually complimenting Murphy.

Question - When St. Louis had the delay penalty, and Steen closed his hand on the puck to gain possession, why wasn't that called a penalty also?

they ruled that almost 3rd goal didn't go all the way over the line.
as Pierre pointed out, had the ref not blown the whistle then, the shot that followed would have counted.
