It's crazy going to be 27 and still has not made the big money yet

Its a sad story, but a prime example of the power of the NFL. Suspend a guy for a couple years due to drug use and he then cant get paid, where he should be.

no. its called investment and responsibility. I'm not shelling out millions if I'm an owner on a guy that's one bad decision away from being banned for games upon games. These guys all retire around 35-40 as millionaires. Go be dopeheads then! Dumb.

he just explained that the dumb ass (and I use that appropriately) has been suspended often...

you have no idea what a fool this guy has been throughout his career thus far and that he's lucky just to be having one at this point

I agree, but there are players out their beating their girlfriend and other illegal things and they are fine (a few years ago at least, but now it seems that has stopped, which is great news!). I agree on drug use, that's why I said sad story, cause he did it to himself.

Will see what happens to Beckham with his latest video. Does he get fired or less money? I think not.

Pot is a pretty effective painkiller/stress reliever. These guys are allowed to down fistfuls of high-strength pharmaceuticals, but they can't smoke pot? Smh

Ullmark + Risto + Reinhart for one of Klefbom/Nurse + Sekera + unprotected 1st

Just bored and was wondering if you guys would or wouldn’t do this?

Bills snagged Star Lotulelei? Nice pick up.....
- sammysam13

I know nothing about him, any word on how much he got? Does he have potential to make an impact? They must like him a lot if they signed him for 5 years, but the guaranteed money will say what they see in him.

I think that video is going to cost him money

I think they need to revisit the whole marijuana thing especially with the amount of opioids they are shoving down players mouths but until they do so these players are making millions playing a game, don't screw it up

boredom usually begets bizarre posts

--why would we want sekera back?
--and the only team that can win the lottery with Edmonton's pick is Edmonton.

no thx

I don’t hate Lehner, but he costs too much to fit.

If the Oilers had a top 4 pick in the draft, I'd do it.

Sekera would be salary dump back. The top pick would be nice, but getting rid of Ullmark (cheap goalie) would be tough to take since most of us want Lehner gone.

Did I read somewhere Oilers might be willing to part with Puljavri to help speed up rebuild? What would his value be? I bet would fetch quite a bit.

I think JBotts is going to make a shocking trade at the draft. Not including Jack of course. Not that shocking. He didn't realize but a piece of crap this team really was.

Former 1st round pick...was thought to be a top 5 prior to an injury in senior season that dropped him to 14th overall. Run-stuffer and quick....Required quite a bit of double-teaming. Panthers younger guys passed him by....I am somewhat disappointed he left. Good player.

No idea on length/term...edit 5 years

Yea, it’s more likely they won’t because once they get back to the real world the shock of a massive drop income and lifestyle is a lot to overcome not to speak of the brain injuries these guys experience.

There’s a huge number that come out as mush.
