It didn't say trying to trade today. They've been talking about it for weeks at this point.

There's a damned if you do damned if you don't aspect at play here too. You can pay the price now, or you can wait for it to maybe come down, or maybe it goes up with another team jumping in, and then you're pissed because you could've gotten it for cheaper two weeks before that.

I have jobs where you have to be drug tested before we can go on site the first time. Usually hospitals, utility companies or government projects. But i usually have weeks advance notice to let my guys know that it is coming up. No one has failed yet.

Not 100% accurate. When I got hurt I was never tested.

Just like the CBA, union rules are negotiated union by union, but the one I worked for, it was absolute that you were getting tested.
This is also in California, where i think if the rules were going to be lax, it would be here. But no dice.
