I like what Nelson is developing into. He's a UFA though. Pretty sure he's signing back here from what it sounds like but that's still a chance I'm not ready to take. Risto is a minute cruncher, it's that simple. Sure he makes some mistakes, but let's not pencil Nelson in as able to do what Risto does.

Those are two different roles.

Hot take but Id make a play for De Haan before Carlson in free agency.

What you looooose in Risto you gain in two young elite nhl ready players, controlled on entry level deals.

Then make a push for a John Carlson

Guhle, Nelson, Scandella, possibly Dahlin.

We are all a little touchy with the BS the Sabres continue to roll out...some more than others, others think it’s all great and are planning the parade down Delaware Ave.
We pick on each other constantly, so when some outsider comes in making jokes ... eh, I have to agree..F’em is my reaction as well.
