I wonder if there is a scenario where teams (Colts, Giants) start to compete with each other to trade down. Both teams need a ton of pieces.
- Slump Buster

Assuming Barkley goes 1st the Giants should be the team trading down since they are sticking with Eli

if they don't get one of the qbs now, this is setting up to be the greatest cuck of all time

Gonna trade for Drew Brees and he's gonna retire.

Maybe....
But when Philly traded from 8 to 2 for Wentz
They had to give up an additional 1st, 2nd & 3rd

Plus...
we might not be the only ones trying to trade up
We might have to beat offers from teams like Miami, Baltimore or whoever

Or maybe Cleveland at 4,
decides only moving back a spot or 2 is in their best interest & they let Denver or the Jets moves up instead

I don’t think it’s as simple as just going by what the chart says

- jdfitz77

To get the QB that’s projected to be moved up for it usually costs more then the chart. I’m thinking both 1sts a 2nd and the worse 3. There are many needy QB teams. I just want to stay away from next years 1st.

Idk about that

If Miami wanted to include their 1st next year in a trade,
Cleveland (or whoever) has gotta be pretty sure that pick is gonna be a lot better than the #22 we are offering this year

- jdfitz77

The Browns also had to wait for those picks and I think with the moves they've made they are ready to start winning now

i've never actually cared about the bills. casual fan.

True, but who wants to wait for next year?
- Slump Buster

A smart GM?
Seems like an easy decision to me

We can still probably move up
It just might end up costing more than the chart says if there’s other bidders

Not trying to be negative...
Just saying it might not be so cut & dry

If we do trade up,
I’m hoping it’s for Rosen
But even he is risky
Is he gonna be Favre? Or just Cutler?

Yeah, that’s fair
I’m just worried about other bidders driving up the price for us to move up

Lost in all of this is that we are upwards of 100 mill under the 2019 cap.

Oh it wasn't lost on me!

They also have $36 million in cap space this year which means they can fill a major hole or two (LB, WR)

It's amazing how Beane has un-Whaley'd the Bills. If only we could un-Murray the hockey team.

I don't think they move up without having to send both 1sts

I am okay with moving 12 and 22 with a 2nd to get to 2

Probably right.
Watkins cost us
9th over all
5th round pick
Future 1st rounder.

To move up 5 spots to #4. In a weaker non qb draft

If you want 3 the math works out to 12, 22, your 2nd and your 3rd rounder this year. Only thing is that if Broncos strike out on QB’s and also want to move up a couple of picks. Bills will have to make it more attractive then the aforementioned.

This is true

I think Beane has an idea of what it's going to take to move up

3ER is the truth. 1/31/18 @ 10:25 PM. The Effin Blueprint. Often imitated, never duplicated. There can only be one 3ER.

Just take the L no big deal

Just an honest question if he was still the gm right now what do you think the team would look like ?

So Glenn's value was roughly an early 2nd? Or late first?

Kc gives us 28 and 22 for 10 last year
We give 21 for 12. And swap of 5th and 6th

Not bad, and the contract dump
