I’m told the #Bills will host FA QB Matt Moore this week. Has ties to new OC Brian Daboll.

Things learned from Sabres HB blog:

Special teams don't matter
Faceoffs don't matter

5v5 is the only thing that matters.

- BareMetal

Man, we cleaned up in the playoffs last year after having that #1 PP unit.

It’s not like we were a bottom 5 team despite that. I guess I’m wrong

Then why did he try to accelerate the process by trading for O’Reilly & Kane, etc?
Obviously he was trying to get us into the playoffs sooner than later by making the moves he did...
and we just didn’t get anywhere close

Some of his picks might turn out to be something, and that would be great

But it seems like your constantly ignoring the utter failure & glaring mistakes he made

- jdfitz77

Seemed like a good idea. Add some young proven NHLers to complete the core. They didn't pan out as planned. Does anything? I loved the aggressiveness of GMTM then and I don't blame him for taking a shot now. Team wouldn't be any better off if those moves weren't made. Okposo, Moulson, ok. I can't defend those. Things seemed like they were on the up and up when they signed Okposo. Definitely ahead of schedule.

Sabres will be good next year.

Report: CHI, GB could be in running for A-Rob
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Bears and Packers could be suitors for free agent Allen Robinson.

Robinson has now been linked to the 49ers and Browns in addition to the Packers and Bears. New Pack GM Brian Gutekunst could be eyeing 24-year-old Robinson as the team's heir apparent to Jordy Nelson, who appeared to have lost a step in 2017.

22 is pretty old for a prospect. just shy of 28% of the players drafted in his draft year have played in the NHL so far. Most guys don't develop much after 23.
- BINGO!

So Derek Ryan at age 28,
gets 15goals in a season in the SHL,
comes to the NHL & scores 11 & 13 goals for u guys

And u project Olofsson to MAYBE do the same thing...
even though at a much younger age (22),
he VASTLY outscored Ryan (27goals to 15)

Your logic isn’t holding up here

Lots of teams looking for tackle help, and trades could be an option. Bills are open to dealing LT Cordy Glenn, and Dolphins are looking to move RT Ju'Wuan James, per sources. In addition, Patriots LT Nate Solder's market's hot

Bring me a 2nd rounder

I'm %100 confident that beane gets the most possible for Glenn. What a difference from whaley.

How can you possibly say this after the return for Kane?

We have nothing to show but a D man on IR for that trade

We might still be 30th...
but how many assets did Murray WASTE?

McNabb & TWO 2nds for Fasching is an example

I actually like that we got O’Reilly & Kane...
but when Murray did that,
he was putting us on a track to be a playoff team by this past season...
if not the one before

That was an utter failure

No 3rd line that can score
No 4th line that can play effectively
And EVERY move he made to improve our defense was a horrible mistake

IF
some of his picks end up working out...
it doesn’t excuse how sh!tty we still are

Packers aren’t standing pat at WR. Per @RapSheet, they are also interested in Sammy Watkins

If he stays healthy in that system sheeesh

We should’ve just traded for Landry
A 4th & a 7th is basically nothing for a guy who has caught more passes in his first 4 years than anyone else ever

A possession WR like that would be a great help to a young QB imo

The cupboard was bare before Murray, the picks traded away made it that much worse

This team has a long standing history at bad drafting

I don't think the roster players and prospects sent out are anything special. Some of the picks could've turned out to be good, but that's what it costs to play. He definitely solidified good working relationships with other GMs. You guys don't want to acknowledge that means anything. I do and think it would've helped down the road.

Pretty overrated imo

And bringing in Landry doesn’t mean they couldn’t also get someone to stretch the field

Like I said Stripes. The Bills either have the best or worst depth of possession receivers.

Correct there were tons of draft picks but no prospects

There are plenty of people to blame with how this team is right now

1) that’s an assumption you can’t back up
-at least not to the extent where it’s an advantage over relationships that any othe GM could’ve done
2) where’s your evidence?
-was GMTM pulling off trades that were in our favor? Or was he more known for overpaying in his trades?

3) why can’t Botts develop relationships as well?
4) heck, it’s not like Botts was locked in the Pens basement... I’d imagine he had some good relationships before he even got here
