They practice on the opposite end from your seats but you can go anywhere during warmups.

Getting in for the Broad Street side lots is kind of tricky coming down broad street from north of the arena. It's easier if you take 95 south to the broad street exit and then take the first entrance to the arena.

hmm.. was thinking on coming down I-95 to avoid the Broad Street traffic lights... was worried about traffic either way though...

thanks!!

If you can take I-95N, I take Exit 19 for the WW Bridge. From there, bare left at the exit ramp and it puts you on Packer. Drive down to the Holiday Inn and make a left onto Darien Street. Park at Jetro or the Linc and walk over.

Missed that, just reread it. In that case, yes, it's pretty straightforward.

After watching him at the WJC this year and seeing that he's been playing in the SHL for two years now, I really want this kid. He seems to know when to push the play and when to be patient with the puck. Also from everything I've read on him, he seems to have a crazy good work ethic and is looking to improve himself every time he steps on the ice.

I've seen him play in the SHL 3 times + his WJC this season (you can find free SHL streams online).

He's a fluid skater, and is very aware of his surroundings. You can tell he's always calculating, looking for the best option, sometimes that's gotten him in trouble..In the viewings I've seen him in the SHL he turned the puck over a few times because the puck was on his stick too long. But it certainly looks like he belongs playing in a league of men.

Something I always wondered.. but with <20 games left, is it possible that the team has to adjust their break outs and in game strategies before the playoffs?

For instance, if the Flyers are constantly doing the same set up plays, the same predictable break out and zone entries for these last 20 games, teams will hone in on that when preparing for the playoffs. However, if the team switches things up now, adds a few wrinkles, it might be harder for teams to prepare come playoff time?

Just an idea of why the team is playing so differently. They seem to have gotten away from what was working so right, but perhaps teams eventually figure out their game plan, and they become more one dimensional. So the team has to shake things up? I'm not saying this is what's happening, but with the post season around the corner, its time for some gamesmanship.

Okay, I'm ready to bring MacDonald back. Get well soon, Andy.

Don't know why everyone was so against my statement Frost would be here next (provided he add muscle). He looks a lot like TK out there. Nearly as shifty, but even craftier.

Ratcliffe is very exciting in 2-3 years. That's Frost's bodyguard, people. Along with Allison and whatever other monsters Hexy drafts.... you can see the gameplan: Maximum skill player of any size along with decent-skill monsters (better than Weise and Lehtera skill).

The issue most probably have with Frost being here next year is that Hextall will overbake a prospect unless they blow them away in all phases of the game. TK slipped in and probably shouldn't have being as how he was handled by Hakstol with the frequent line changing and scratching. I think they'd rather him develop down in the AHL and then come up with a set role like Lindblom did.

I'm trying to forget this weekend so I'm going to take a quick look at some intriguing prospects that may be available if the Blues pick ends up in that 11-13 range.
This is not in any order of preference:

Quinton Hughes D 5'10 175
Yeah, he's small, but that's about the only drawback there is with this guy. He is an excellent skater with fantastic puck skills and the smarts to take over and control a game from the back end.

Evan Bouchard D 6'2 192
He's still filling out and needs to get stronger but he is the complete package. Not as dynamic as Hughes, but he just does everything very well. He's extremely start and very advanced defensively for his age. He also has very good skills and wheels and by all scouts accounts that I have seen, an A+ work ethic too.

Rasmus Kupari C 5'11 165
Kupari has fantastic puck skills, a good shot along with very good wheels and hockey sense. As with most kids, he needs to get stronger, but he's pretty close to can't miss when it comes to being, at the very least, a solid NHL forward with solid top 6 potential.

Joel Farabee LW 5'11 161
This kids simply has off the charts hockey sense and smarts and if he were a little bigger and stronger would likely be going in the top 5. He's blessed with great wheels and very good skills and with his smarts, he's pretty much a can't miss prospect. He's got top 6, and potentially top line winger ability.

Isac Lundestrom C 6'0 185
Another guy with great hockey sense and smarts who already plays a complete, mature game. He also is a very good skater with very good skills and good size too.

What I like about all of these guys is each and every one is rated between very high and off the chart when it comes to hockey sense and smarts. All are also good to excellent skaters and all have good to excellent skills. I'd be happy to see any of these guys added to our prospect pool.

I'm a big fan of Kupari. There is another Fin centerman projected to go in the 1st round that I remember Mononoke speaking highly of but I can't remember his name

I claim retribution!

On a side note it's good to feel good enough to sit up reading this site again. Man car accidents suck. I was in a minor one Thursday afternoon and felt fine until Friday morning. My car looked fine so Friday, Saturday and Sunday were a shock that I didn't want to move. Heck even today any movement a little too fast sends a jolt.

I can respect a man who has written the same song 500 times and can still be considered a great song writer. He's pretty much the Charles Manson of music with how he can fool and influence the weak minded.

It'd be workman's comp since it happened driving during work I'm moving today and can work. I know it'll take a few more days to be full go.
