I am pleased to see all the love Wilson has been getting lately.
Especially after I suggested he was a decent 4th liner who plays the game properly ... although I took a ton of poop for that comment back then. Sometimes the eye test is much more reliable than the analytics and labels tagged on players!

Reminds me of how I was barking on Eichel for lazy play, Then he woke up December 1st and was playing a strong, very strong 2 way game and being rewarded for it on the scoresheet.

I may need to reconsider Nylander if he keeps playing as well has he has the last 4 or 5 or so. Now, play that way for 82 straight to play yourself out of the A ... that is the only way players should be promoted...through consistent production, not an entitled attitude.

Oddly, Eichel’s game has not picked up since smothering Kane was traded, I would have expected more goals from the bed...lazy. What is their record since he has been sidelined anyway? Hmmmm!

That's what I mean. If there were any depth, ROR wouldn't be playing that amount of minutes. It's been the story of his whole career here.

We don't have enough top end talent agreed.

Our bottom six, is a huge problem. With guys like Erod, Wilson, maybe Baptiste.

I don't like Larsson because he not only does he draw penalties, he takes stupid penalties as well. At close to the same clip minute wise. So it's a wash, and we get what 15 - 20 points out of him?

Erod will probably slot down there when we get some more top end players, heck Okposo might be down on the third line if they get the right players.

I agree, it’s whether we can build a winning team with these peices is the hard part.

It’s easy to identify we need a great D man and another great forward. Getting them is a whole other story.
