Good question, I honestly have no idea.
I was told it was the upper management, so probably.

Reading that the lease is up soon, makes me think , tpegs is hoping for some public funding. Like Rochester and new era.

I imagine Brandon is on board for improvements, helps his primary job, selling tickets

Some sort of arena study is what I heard.

Is there a way to follow money?

The bold is interesting considering almost all the advanced stats last night pointed to Buffalo outplaying the Lightning and deserving the win.
- kingcong39

We did outplay them.

That doesn’t have anything to do with us getting fortunate that Erne took an idiotic penalty that set us up with a 4 on 3. Which again is the only time that our “core” seems to get on the score sheet.

The forwards who led us in scoring chances last night -

Girgensons, Wilson and Rodrigues. Defense was Antipin and Nelson

Not Ryan O’Reilly or Ristolainen. Despite playing almost half the game

Frank the Tank. I'm hoping we are the winningest team for the remainder of the season....so tired of the sh!tshow we've gotten used to seeing.

Perfect! Get the 13th pick and then trade it for an oft injured unproven third string goalie! Count me in!

Um look at what I posted. Your comment is meant for someone else, maybe, because it has zero to do with my comment. Duh.

the eye test showed the same
- Michael Pachla

It also showed that our bottom 6 is hardly to blame for our place in the standings

What it showed me is that a 4th line of Wilson, Rodrigues, Baptiste would be tremendous, especially if the 3rd line is greatly improved, say with the addition of someone like Stastny, not that they are even remotely interested in adding someone like that.

I'm curious what kind of deal Stastny is going to get this offseason.

they've been playing better, but it's only one game...the whole post came off as a reason to bash o'reilly when the team beat the top team in the league on the road

I saw exactly what you posted. It was 100% sarcasm, had everything to do with your comment, and 100% meant for you.

4th line: wilson- E rod - baps/pommer.

2nd line of Sam- ror- Okposo

If Rodrigues plays like he did last night consistently, Buffalo won't need to worry about the 3C spot as he was tremendous last night.

Factor continues to shut down the NHL's best lines. What a game he had last night. Worth every penny.

The ? could be either Zadina or Svechnikov.

The 3rd line could be Stastny as an FA signing, Pominville, and a player from the AHL.

That would be the start to 4 quality lines.

I believe the term the Three Eyed Raven used to describe him (over a year ago) was "Datsyuklike." 3ER still undefeated on this board.

Probably a 3-4 year 5-6 mil deal. Wouldn’t surprise me if he stays in Winnipeg.

Problem isn’t the 4th liners playing well, it’s the lack of production 5 on 5 from the top two lines and top pair. (I’m not including Eichel)

Can’t bank on PP’s or last second OT wins. It’s not sustainable. Not that it needs to be this season.

Really gotta hope Nylander and Middlestadt are the real deals. The future really depends on whether they pan out or not

40% on the dot

7th on the team in shot differential
7th on the team in scoring chance differential

He is good defensively. Very good.

Very mediocre offensively

So, outside of the 40% FO rate as he is normally tremendous there, we got exactly what he has been his entire career?

That's too much for a 3C, clearly, especially when the top two are going to be making nearly $18M starting next tear.

If the GM was being honest in his interviews post trade deadline, they will have Middlestadt, Nylander, Guhle, Ullmark, the high end 1st round pick this year, and another high end 1st round pick next year as possible building blocks going forward.

They should be in very good shape even with keeping all of ROR, Risto, Okposo, and Sam.

Imagine if Nylander grew 2 feet and 30 lbs.

Or

Could be a consistent 3rd line nhl guy with upside

Playing better lately.
I imagine jbotts is going to add a good forward thru fa

he's well ahead of his career pace and looks as if he'll have his third straight 20-goal season and another 35-assist year

I think we’re in decent shape as long as Guhle ends up being a high end D man.

Issue I have with ROR long term is that I don’t think we’re going to be contending next season, and I don’t think wasting 4-5 years of O’Reilly’s prime is smart.

Cashing him in for a younger asset might be the better play
