PIT, obviously, doesn’t have much cap flexibility but will continue to look at trade possibilities. The oft-rumoured return of Matt Cullen to PIT is by no means guaranteed but it still could be a consideration before the deadline.

Wasn't sure what was meant by this, but I just read TIOPS(don't judge) and they're stating that Sheahan could be moved at the deadline.

I'd rather have Sheahan than Cullen at this point in their careers

Yeah. Doesn’t make any sense at the moment.

Cullen has been reported have been playing well again, but still...

They better f'n not. Sheahan will be a beast with those matchups. His wingers, no matter who ends up there, will be speedy and able to score. The 4th line is going to be strong as F. Only thing I could see slowing it is the return if Kuhn.

I can't see GMJR letting a young, cheap and good RFA go to fit over the hill Cullen in.

Penguins posted GMJR interview on facebook. If you want to have a good laugh take a look at the comments, its gold.

So far I have seen people:
- Cursing JR because he traded fists of fury and now we are going to be a target to cheap shots. We will miss his grit and he was also "scoring lot lately"
- People saying we should have traded Maatta (!!!!!!!) instead of Cole because he was a important piece and way better than Maatta.
- people saying we gave a lot and are not convinced about "Brassards numbers"
- one guy saying trade makes no sense because we traded a great prospect (Sundqvist!!!!!!!) for reaves and now he's gone.

Facebook fans are the best, honestly.

I go on there to laugh. It's embarrassing how some of those comments are. They are acting like the Penguins Cup chances are ruined since Reaves is gone.

Pretty sure ol' Palmer left here for Facebook, so he could become the voice of reason.

You guys are going to really like Brass.

In big games he's big and plays really strong.

Where do you guys see him playing?
I'm actually pretty depressed and frustrated with what's going on in ottawa

scouting reports on gusty and ian cole?

gusty is an up and coming great goal tender prospect. It will take a little for him to hit the big club, but when he does he should be a solid player. Ian Cole is very good with defensive position and he is good at blocking shots. He should be a solid 2nd pairing Dman for Ottawa and may help get additional picks if traded.

Does anyone have the link that was posted in an article not too long that tracks the playoff odds for every team?

I really hope not and I always take TIOPS with a tiny tiny grain of salt, but the fact McKenzie reported Cullen to the Pens is still a consideration leads me to believe TIOPS might be on to something.

I could see that. The only other team besides PIT that was really focused on a center. Plus the stigma of being cucked by an expansion franchise.

Only makes sense if they could flip Sheahan for a 6D upgrade, then bring in Cullen to fill the 4C hole.

It better be a D that's around the same age then if they do that.
