I really hope JR does nothing more for the sole reason I don't want any team chemistry (frank)ed up. I think these guys are tight & anymore missing from the run in & there may be some problems. They proved last season that the 'team' will win not individuals playing in that team (maybe 1 reason the Caps have had issues in the past - are they really a team?).

Really looking forward to seeing how Brassard goes.

I think Gallant will get the best out of Fists of Fury.

I agree with this. He was great in Ottawa. I hate to see him go but you guys will love what he brings. Love the return we got too, especially if we can flip Cole for something good

I feel like those top 3 deserve to stay there, but it would be pretty strange to only play Sheahan 4 minutes a game. Means you should shift them together sometimes, unless you think Sheahan is worse than your bottom line wingers (and deserves 4 minutes per game).

Crosby’s icetime has likely been increasing due to Rowney’s injury and even after he came back Sid has continued to get double shifted. Sid was also killing penalties with Rowney our. I don’t see that as a common trend moving forward. I also don’t think Sheahan is worse than our bottom pair wingers.. hence why I figured him to come in around the 9 minute per game mark

So much for GMJR wanting to have an enforcer in the lineup to protect his 2 superstars.

Meh.. Oleksiak is just as effective... And my gut is telling me they're gonna get Kane too for some reason... Not sure I want that. Would be overkill.

I was at last night's game. So pumped about the trade. Went to take a poop and saw the trade was rejected. So I'm pissed off as we are torching the Canes and get an alert we traded Reaves. God without being able to read full updates I was so confused lol. Talk about drama.

Anyway, I read we have $2M in cap space now. It's kind of scary to think somehow we have more than DOUBLE the cap space we had before acquiring Brassard.

Not to mention -- we have Brassard for $3M?! Are you kidding? I actually think this doesn't close the door on Horny.
