Actually, the Panthers team just **** on Hunwick. I haven't seen a man get ****** so many times in one night since college. - eNDSo
That was one of the worst individual performances you'll ever see. Wow did he suck. Move Oleksiak to the left and put Ruhwedel back in. Rutherford is going to need another D......no question. |

Serious question, can we acquire Cole back? We have plenty of cap room now. |

Not sure about the disallowed goal, Horny did push the puck with Luongos pad on it. Can you push the puck on its own when it's under the body? The Florida D looked like he was pushing as well.
I don't play hockey so I don't know the specifics of the pad being able to be pushed by the stick, I would think it tough to do? If the puck wasn't accessible why didn't the refs freeze the puck?
Aweful D on a few of those goals. Dumo looked like he wants to stay away from contact & just use his stick, (frank)ing hit the player Dumo you big poof! Others where the Pens D - Oleksi & Hunnyswick want to skate backwards & watch the puck! wtf is that poop? |

Wasn't in here last night but holy hell hunwick looks like he doesn't even know fundamentals and positioning...are you kidding me. Ruth needs to pull off a Scuderi like trade here. |

For a guy who doesn't score much in the playoffs I'd say so. Even though they had beleskey buried in the ahl |

I heard from my friend who works for the Pens that he believed they still would take Cullen as our 4th liner and if that were the case they would trade Sheahan because he has Brassard like value currently from other GMs. JR has his eyes on big names like Pacioretty if that were to happen. I would rather us target a good defenseman after last night though. Hunwich was terrible. |

If Cole plays in that game, the Pens would have won. No other way of looking at it. Hunwick was directly responsible for 2 goals. In general, the Pens were pretty sloppy, but Hunwick seemed to have no clue about his positioning.
I used to think we needed to possibly add a wing, but now I think a LD is imperative. |

Yep... I wonder if there was any way to have done the deal for Brassard with Hunwick instead of Cole. Probably not since Hun has no retrade value, but I can dream.
Also why I think JR has 1 more deal up his sleeve for a mid pairing Dman. |

Yea I would've added a pick just to rid of hunwick in that deal instead of Cole. But good thing is Ruth can fix this still. |

Dorion wanted Cole to flip him for another asset. I think they can get a 2nd or 3rd for him.
Yup, Hunwick with negative trade value that dipped even further after last night. I've been hoping TO wanted him back. Maybe we could eat 500k of his deal. |

No way Sheahan nets the same return as Brassard...not even close. My guess would be a 2nd and b-level prospect tops. |

I really hope the "Cullen back to Pitt" is an E4 level rumor type of garbage... loved the man while here but this season shows that he is really really done. |

Despite Hatewicks bad outting last night I truly beleive two things:
Hunwick > Hainsey
Oleksiak > Cole... Or very close anyways.
So in my opinion, the D right now is better than what headed into the postseason last year.
Yeah Wicky had a real crap game but so did Dumoulin, one goal was a one on one with him he totally botched plus piles of other crap plays, and Oleksiak had what I thought was his worst game yet.
I feel like theres a slight catastrophic sky is falling because of our current D vibe going on around here...added to everything I just said, the Panthers are just as hot as the Pens the past two months but are way more desperate, it was in their barn and they didn't play the night before. |

Yeah I really think going with Cullen over Sheahan as 4C would be a monumental mistake and not just this year, but for a few years at least. |

It would be what Chicago just tried bringing all the boys back together to force repeated success. |
