i havent watched any rochester games in a long time.
i thought he looked sloppy and overly aggressive a couple years ago in his first stint with the sabres.
In the columbus game this year i thought he looked pretty good. he stayed in control, and anticipated the play well. he kept his upper body in position during that game. he was always upright and balanced with his shoulders facing the puck and didnt overplay the play itseelf really at all. when the puck was dancing around in the slot/crease i thought he was balanced, dug in and ready to move with the play and did pretty well when it would squirt out. instead of just trying to cover as much net as possible hoping the puck would either come to him or just him him he looked ready for it to move somewhere else and would move with it when it did. he stole that game for us. time will tell with him as well. lets hope he has put it together.

Woke up to the dark rainy morning and proceeded to made a cup of coffee. I tossed the slippers on and went to the living room and stared out the window with only one thing on my mind,

Does anyone REALLY believe a team is going to trade for Benoit Pouliot?

Easy livin’ in Buffalo, boys.

Karlsson or bust

Nash to Boston supposedly complete pending a trade call.

Rumored return is possibly Trent Frederic and a 1st.

Sucks for the B's that Bergeron is hurt now.

He's hurt about as much as Bogosian.

Maybe they could put the two together and make one hockey player who might be able to stay healthy: Bergoseron.

Not yet official yet because the trade call with NHL has not happened but BOS and NYR have a deal in place for Rick Nash. Return to NYR expected to include BOS first-round pick and prospect defenseman Ryan Lindgren, but there are other elements to the deal as well.

Lindgren is a nice player (battles hard, plays a simple, safe game, good compete level), but slots just inside the Bruins (now Rags) top 10 prospects.

I'd rather take a 2nd or even 3rd round pick back and get the "better" prospect from someone.

I would love that return for Kane, like I said
8 weeks ago, a 1st and a B prospect.

I would love that return for Kane, line I said 6 weeks ago, a 1st and a B prospect.

I'd be less interested in the pick and more so in the prospect and Lindgren is pretty meh

If Nash got a late 1st and a B prospect (I'd love to see what the other elements are too) I'm not sure what Kane can get, it won't be that much.

NYR will be retaining 50 per cent of Nash’s remaining salary and AAV for the balance of the season. Nash, of course,is UFA on July 1.

Hmm I think it would be similar. Nash has a higher contract and less points then Kane this year. Both UFA’s
