I call them video game trades. Kane for RoR, then just keep adding junk til they say yes.

I'd imagine Kane's value is in the same ballpark as Karlsson. Both are too crazy for me to think much about. Most of our prospects are B chips. Those deals would take multiple A chips.

Pkane88. Buffalo connection, hawks are rebuilding and cap strapped. They have toews who is their captain.

Sabres need to sell tickets. That would give Russ Brandon a huge angle.

PK88 coming to Buffalo would be huge no matter 29 or 30. Him and Eichel would be dynamic IMO. Eichel really needs someone like him even though his contract is HUGE.

I know people are going to go off on me but why pay him and keep him if your're not going to help him. It's about Eichel and making this team better now, and i'm not big on adding more money and I did say Botterill is looking to remove huge contracts from this team but, PK88 is a different story.

I agree. Kane is a great player and might have a few more years at being a top winger in the NHL, but I feel Chicago already got his best years. And, at what I'll take to get him in a Sabres' jersey, the price is too steep. I'd rather see Mittelstadt and Zardina/Svech/Dahlin best years as a Sabre then watch them as a Blackhawk while hoping Kane doesn't fall into diminishing returns and putting us into cap hell.

Couple other quick notes: if WIN looks for a depth LD, one possibility is Viktor Antipin from BUF. He played for Paul Maurice in KHL...also FLA, which snared a huge win tonight, showing serious interest in Ryan McDonagh from NYR.
