I would this years 2nd round pick , just to move him out. Give to get better,
- SABRES 89

His contract isnt hurting us at all right now. It will be off the books by the time we are ready to sign anyone to an expensive enough contract where his would get in the way.

Like you said we have to move ROR, but wouldn't that have to be a separate deal ?
- SABRES 89

i don't see why a ROR package for Kane wouldn't work for both teams

ROR is 27

P. Kane is 29

one is who he is the other may be good for years to come and playing with jack could rejuvenate him

both teams win that trade imo

chicago saves a few million, we have a few million to spare anyway with the cap going up and jack's hometown discount

hard pass. that is wayyyyyy to much for this franchise to be paying for anybody right now.
- TheHank

I guess I'm really down on,

Sam
Nylander
Ror's contract ( Not him)
McCabe has peaked and will need to be paid real $ soon
2020 1st Round pick would be in the 20's ( sure)

Pkane is super fun to watch.

Throw in Larsson for good measure. I agree - Bogo's contract is the worst one they have. He is always hurt and when he does play he sucks. I'll take Nelson, Antipin and Guhle at < $1 million per year all day and everyday vs having guys like Bogo on the team.
- SabreWest

thats really what the team needs . Hell with those hopefuls anf go with the now .

Chicago would only move him to free up cap space. They wont want ror. Imo.

I only removed ROR thinking the Hawks would want to get cheaper, cap wise.

Ror is younger by a few years
Contrant is 3 million less
Ror wins face offs.

What's ror's value. The contract hinders him a bit.

You and 89 are both right.

Hawks would want cheaper and younger then ror.

We would have to move ror separate probably.

Sam, nylander, McCabe. And a pick or Bailey type??

too much to give up for a large contract and 30 year old player

we'd be doing them a favor imo taking that contract

they want to re-tool not rebuild

keep toews, saad, ROR as 2nd line center, then look for scoring help in other trades or offseason

Are you saying that all they can get for kane is a guy that costs as much as ror? I highly doubt that.

I like his game. Everyone is enamored with puck moving defensemen these days, he is pretty good at it. Makes a bone headed mistake from time to time but i still like his game.
