I guess that I am just a bit worried about the amount of mileage on Pat's tires.
Where as Casey still has that 'new car smell' if you will ?

Jagr is 15 years older then pkane.
And still signed a deal this year and played well last year.

Kane has 4 years left, not 10 or 12.

How much is going to drop in the next 3 or 4 years.

Kane has 5 years left on his deal and we don't even know what Chicago would want for him, but it will be an awful lot. Like I said he'll still be really good at least for a few more season, but we don't know what his future is. Many guys drop in production once they hit 30 in this league, not that it will happen to Kane, but it's something that needs to be considered when trading for him.

For me his past accomplishments are irrelevant. I only care about how much he'll cost to get him in here and what will he still bring to this team when he's 30-35? His trade price will be that of a top 5 winger in this league, and maybe he still is that, but will he be that in 3 years? I'll roll the dice with Zardina.
