So my question...why would Vegas take money on Brassard and help Pittsburgh? It appears otherwise, Brassard was heading to a western team, VGK got involved to keep him in the east. As I was told “Better to face him in round 4 than 2.”


This is nuts! It's not as if Brassard is Crosby. I just don't get it!

That's jokes, I just read an article talking about the deadline like a zero sum game, that part of any trade for someone is ensuring your competition isn't getting him. I guess this is like the low grade version of that.

Is he a center? He's listed as one.

Ok, so 2.25 is a huge dump, but it only really helps them. It does nothing for the Sabres' long range plans. With the 1st gone, Sprong is the only thing that's desirable from them.
