Lindblom is showing he should have been called up long before Simmonds got hurt.
The Goulbourne experiment in January seems weirder with every passing day. |

Kings and Flames are now only 1 point back of the Blues for the final WC Spot. Avs are only 3 pts behind. That’s going to be a dogfight to the end, but it’ll likely help our odds at a better draft position. |

Eh, all I'm seeing is that now is a good time to have called him up. He's doing well.

I was hoping for a kings overtime win over Dallas last night which would of pushed blues out. |

I would be thrilled if that Blues pick ends up in the 11-15 range and I think there is a decent chance that might just happen. |

January is debatable but I definitely think with all that has come out about his struggle adjusting off the ice that sending him down was the right move initially. How soon he should of been recalled you can flip a coin on the answer |

I think it's funny how suddenly the blues are saying their window isn't this year they are only looking to acquire guys that fit with their window which is just beginning to open ? |

I just hope they don't go into tank mode because they have a lotto pick in their sights.
I'm kind of starting to hope Hextall puts a package of picks together to move up in this draft. We have a lot of young, promising players in the NHL and in the system. Could be the right time to package a couple of picks and move up for a very highly touted prospect. That's all assuming the price to do so makes sense. |

My Game Observations:
- Provorov had a tough night.
- Love Mrazek's play. He was confident and looked in control. The athleticism is great. The puck handling is great to help transition out of the zone
- Gostisbehere should be a Norris candidate. His game has matured and he has turned into a top pair defensman this year.
- Once Simmonds is back i think I want Patrick still on the top unit. He is calm and his hands are so good in close. I also like it allows for more puck movement as he can set up behind the net too because of his passing. Simmonds can move to the 2nd unit and help that one
- My roster when everyone is back(unless a trade is made):
Giroux- Couturier - Konecny
Lindblom - Patrick - Voracek
Weal - Laughton - Simmonds
Raffl - Filppula - Lehtera/Weise/Leier
- 1 point from 1st in the tough Metro. This team at one point was last in the metro. I give the coach full marks for keeping this team moving forward. - J35Bacher
would love to see that second line.

Is it really debatable that Lindblom would have been a better callup option than Goulbourne last month? Or that he's a better NHL winger than Lehtera or Weise? I don't think it is. |

They had a couple of key guys injured to start the year and now it seems like that’s starting to catch up to them. They’ve had trouble scoring lately which obviously doesn’t help. |

It's debatable that lindblom felt comfortable enough in his life that he wouldn't of been overwhelmed by another big change and his performance on the ice to suffer. Just like the sanheim vs manning debate it's not an argument of is sanheim better or is lindblom better - they are. It's a question of what is right for them. Lindblom benefited from the ahl and can now hopefully stay up and have a great career the 4 months in the minors will be laughable in a few years |

I think at this point, if they do miss the playoffs, they’d be safely ensconced in that 11-15 range....there’s too many bad or mediocre teams below them to make up points in the race to the bottom. |
