im just not a huge guy on goalies. especially when they are young. i dont think they have value like a young center or defenseman. the development can be erratic and that next jump sometimes doesnt come.
you can also usually find passable tending for reasonable prices at almost any time. look at the flyers scooping mrazek. - stayinthefnnet
Closest thing to harts play in recent history is vasilevsky and I would say hart has outperformed him. He's setting ridiculous records. I just really believe he's the real deal that's why I said I would trade any other young promising goalie. |

i'm not even a gigantic murray guy. i think he is good, but not top 5 in the league good. murray's best attribute is that he currently vastly outperforms his cap hit. - stayinthefnnet
He was terrible in the world cup for team north America and cost them a spot in the 2nd round and I'll never forgive him for that. |

Really I can't believe VGK took 2 million of salary for a 4th round pick. Have to take Reaves too lol - YuenglingJagr
The trade doesn't make much sense, maybe they were aware of a western team with a good offer on the table and put in a little incentive for him to stay in the east?

Yeah maybe. I mean they got a 4th rounder for cap space they weren't going to use anyway, but just seems like 2 million would be worth more. Plus it really bugs me that the Pens are getting Brassard that cheap |

Yeah. Bugs me too. I can't. Relieve the dismantle job they're doing in Ottawa. If they trade karlsson as reported, what's going to be left for the fans to watch? |

Dude people are creaming all over the place about the Penguins, I just can't see how Derick Brassard bumps them from "second tier" contenders to surefire ones.
Useful player but is he really a difference maker? Come on.... |

They're adding him as their 3rd line center behind Crosby and Malkin and now move Sheahan to the 4th line. That gives them real strong center depth through 4 lines. |
