But what YOU believe about Kane (not being that good of a player) doesn’t really matter dude

He was the #1 available guy according to all the experts,
so he had to have pretty good value at some point
Obviously there are GMs out there who think Kane is good
That’s what matters

If there’s GMs out there still that like Kane (and I’m sure there still are) then we should be ok

We only need 2 of them to really want to bid on him

That doesn’t mean i think we are getting 4 good pieces...
but i also think we will do better than a 2nd & “b” prospect

He was the number one available guy in december because we were the only team truly selling that early (my god thats depressing)

He was #1 on the tsn bait board for that very reason, that list was compiled to include likelihood of being traded, not a rank of who's available.

Im sure he had decent value in december, they should have sold in january or whenever it was that Pitt apparently offered two future firsts.

I think we'll get a 2nd (maybe two) and a B prospect. My definition of B prospect is someone with decent upside but not necessarily a household name among hockey fans.

Mitchell Stephens would be a high end version of that i guess.

It was a blatant plagiarism of Neon Genesis Evangelion, which is quite possibly the greatest anime series ever made and top of the line Kaiju.

Anyone who enjoys kaiju should watch NGE.

It was great. Focused more on the human side of the lore and added sci-fi elements. The last 30 minutes alone are worth the watch and the ending... Wowza. What a good job they managed to do with it.

I’d only have done it then if someone made a great offer

I’m sure there’s still some GMs who value Kane over Nash
-Kane is younger, so more attractive to possibly re-sign
-faster & more physical too
-and Nash has a Rep for disappearing in the playoffs, and it’s not like he’s had a great season this year either
