He doesn't have a NTC. I would assume in a scenario like this, agents would work out terms of an extension, or there would be some serious conditional picks in the deal. Sign Carlson to 7. He's pretty good. You can do it if you BO Bogo (and fill the left side with a winger like JVR in FA)

And Ryan is anti-valuable. That contract is now the worst in the NHL now that Dion's has been reduced to 5M

I modeled it on capfriendly. It definitely doesn't. BO Bogo, Carlson at 7, JVR at 5, Reinhart at 3.5, bring up Guhle, CJ Smith and Fasching for 800 thou, sign Nelson for 8 or 900

How are those numbers low? Reinhart on a 2 year bridge? JVR approaching 30 as a top 6 winger? Carlson maybe gets more, but definitely not much.

And if you're referring to the AHL callups.......

Those numbers are definitely not "low".

It's optimistic to get Carlson. That i agree with. All my post needed to show was that it was possible.
