I remember a few years ago thinking he was the next big thing when Howard got hurt and he played a ton and was really good, and then never really replicated it, and then the wheels fell off last year, but I can see that happening on a team that he gets no support from and on a bad team kind of snowballing on him.

He sure looked like he was going to be the next big thing. But his game just fell off the cliff. I think the league adjusted to him. When he's not on his game he cheats. By that I mean he anticipates where the puck will go and players figured out that if they just hold it a bit longer and make an extra pass, they'll have an open net to shoot at.

But when he's on he looks like Patrick Roy. The talent is there. But it's consistency which separates the Carey Price's from the Scott Darling's.

One thing Mrazek excels at is puck handling. He's like having a third defenseman back there.

We got him because our 1 and 2 were injured it's not like were signing him to a 10 year contract. We have several high end goalie prospects with the prize being Carter hart.

Thank goodness Garth Snow didn't give up such important assets like a 3rd and 4th round pick to help his team and fill a hole that has been bleeding all year and costing us a possible playoff spot or better playoff position. Way to hold on to the picks, I am sure that will impress JT and show him how devoted you are to building a team around him in 5 or 6 years from now! Maybe Garth is planning his own comeback!
