Well yeah, I figured that was a given. If I could watch games with nothing other than ambient arena noise I would. I do like Burkie though. Butch makes me want to plug my ears with feces. |

Rutgazer was a stuttering wiener who visibly read off a notepad, how did he land a job in the NYC market? |

And I'm sure both will be given jobs in the Islanders player development department before the season is out |

Burke has national tv potential so the isles will let him walk for nothing too, parrish is very good even if you think he could try and sell you a bible at any given moment |

Let's be honest unless you're bringing in an elite goaltender to play behind this joke of a team you're just wasting your time. Mzarek isn't getting us past Tampa or Boston. Plus can you imagine getting swept by the Bruins with half the barc being filled with Bruins fans? Fack that. I'd rather not make the playoffs - Vukota
Odds are you will get your wish. |

Yes but he talks about important hockey issues like the need to play defense. |

I agree but at the same time when he slumps he facking slumps - Vukota
He goes through slumps like most players do. At the end of the year he is always producing at a respectable pace. If he doesn't sign then you'll see the whole Islander team slump.
I think the Islanders plan is to open the check book and sign him even if he is made the highest paid player in the league. Knowing how much JT wants to win i don't know if that gets it done. |

Of course but there are guys who when they aren't scoring they still do other things to help. He is useless when he slumps. With that said I want him signed and I love the guy just pointing out when he sucks boy does he suck |

Good news is there is a good shot we'll have two chances of winning the draft Lottery in a couple of months |

CGY is literally exactly like the Western Conference version of the Islanders, standings-wise. Both are just barely outside the last wildcard spot but have played more games than almost every other team.
Getting Dahlin would be a hell of a consolation prize |

Yeah, true I think when it isn't going well for him and the team he tries too much and starts trying to do it all by himself. I blame coaching for that. 1st off just the whole non defensive system the team plays and also, when things aren't going well thats when the coach needs to step in and pull the player aside and help him through it.
i had no problem giving Dougie a shot but he's hasn't shown me that he is what we need. Its a continuation of the go go go hard forecheck system that totally exposes this team defensively and quite honestly don't have a fraction of the talent needed on the blue line to pull it off. |
