I still can’t believe Bartkowski is in the league. One of the dumber dmen I’ve seen play. He was a mess defensively and pinched in offensively at the most random/worse times.

I honestly think Sbisa was better, salaries aside.

I don't hold Virtanen to any standard. A Neely comparison was brought up. I think the organization should focus on his best skill which is his speed. Train him to be a force on the PK and play him on the 4th line until he earns a promotion. I don't understand when posters suggest he could be a Raffi Torres comparable. Torres put up a 165 PIMS in the AHL as a 20 year old. Jake doesn't have the mean streak.

I think the Torres comparaison comes from being a “scorer” in junior, a high 1st round pick, and ultimately looking like a 3rd/4th liner - has the size and shown he can be a big hitter.
