I don't have facts and figures on this but i'm pretty sure the less ice time the Sedin's get the more wins the Canucks have. 9 minutes of 5v5 time. That's 4th line material. If they are 4th line now, then next season when a prospect or free agent come in, they would be pushing them down the depth chart. No sense in signing them.

Essentially PP specialists now.

Nilson = take anything or keep
Guddy 3.5 X 4 or trade for 2nd or good D prospect
Vanek = trade for 2nd or 3rd, anything less = keep and sign cheap (I kinda like him)
Tanev = we get an awesome deal of A level prospect or young NHL D + 1st we take it!
Sign sedins each 1 year for 3 million (it's going to happen, give EP, and others another year)

Sign 1-2 short term, cheap vets. Move in EP, and whoever else is ready after next year.

If EP, OJ are good and then one of dahlen, gaudette, lockwood, goldy, lind, turn out to be top 6.....we're in good shape!



Down to trade others except for Boeser, Horvat, I'd even say JV cuz value so low, if it makes sense + more picks!

Yeah they already have Gagner signed for that. At least Gagner can skate. EP comes in and replace's Henrik on the half wall. Fantastic because at least EP can shot the puck. LE could even take Daniel's spot. He's already signed long term too.

I've seen him play 3 times on TV and highlights. He is great offensively but his defensive game... well there really just isn't one.
