Heck MDZ is probably a comparable contract. Just the way the players are paid now. Player salaries go up every season with the cap.

Overall he’s way better, people get caught up in false narratives just because both are young puck moving dman and want to put them in the same group. He makes some more glaring mistakes and is a work in progress, but he has a much higher % of good shifts than DP.

Hutton’s no saviour, but lumping in a decent bottom pairing NHL dman with an AHL’er is dumb

The boss analogy doesn't work, Aquaman is an owner not a boss. Two very different things.

A boss in theory knows how to do many of the jobs his employees do. An owner is just the money and hires a boss to get the results he wants.
