I’m assuming his perceived upside is that of a 2nd pairing dman then.

If not, then I doubt he’d be ranked as a high/mid 2nd round dman.

He may end up being a bottom pairing guy, but his upside has to be higher to make him worth drafting in the 34-36 range.

Bouchard would be your top 4 Bahl is projected 5/6 I keep repeating it is for the toughness. There are no projected top 4 at pick 33

USHL/College players and sometimes Russian players good value in the later rounds.

CHL is the most heavily scouted so it’s harder to find gems unless it’s a player who’s playing on a stacked team that isn’t getting mins(Cliff Pu is a recent example). Or a talented prospect who’s undersized or a bad skater.

Guddy to NYI for MDC
Kid is close to bust as far as a 5OA but still looks like a future bottom 6 at the low end and would be a solid return for Guddy.
NYI need D if they want a playoff push and had been linked to him in the past. They also don't seem high on MDC and he has fallen down their depth chart.

Yup. The guy will be lucky to become a decent AHL player. He played on some Sweden international junior teams so I assume he has leadership/defensive intangibles like Daniel Rahimi did but isn’t good enough to be an actual prospect.

Gradin was afraid they’d trade his guy again if he drafted another Forsling so instead he went with the opposite

Codes has already said Logan Stanley won't ever be a top 4. I would rather someone with top 4 or a top 6 F potential with a high second. If Van gets another 2nd. Sure. Rasanen went 59th last year.
