The GM hasn't done tiddlywinks to improve that team in two years. Two young studs they thought in Stepan and Kreider. Some defensemen loosing their effectiveness? Girardi gone. Staal the same after concussions? Blow it up and consider moving McDonough. Right, Skeji plays defense with ghosts. I would take time to study where to go if I were Q. Oh btw I still am covinced that Q has to update some of his coaching ideas/strategy. But it is a difficult situation in Chicago and a rebuild will make his hair fall out. I say tank. Climb up the draft ladder as high as possible, and use the rest of this year to decide who stays and who is expendable.

There are no high impact pending UFAs worth moving anything valuable for, and anyone the Hawks might want to move will likely result in equal return in the way of bad contract coming back.

Vegas/Tampa final this year.
