It's like watching Brady and the Pats get one penalty for the entire frickin' game the other week...meanwhile Hawks have actually had some speed tonight and some play. Still some sloppiness in their own zone a few times.

We'll see how it plays out. Does this team have another 40 minutes like that in them tonight...stay tuned.

I like Maroon. He is huge and not afraid to go to the net, has decent hands and is on a very affordable contract. He is a pending UFA so will quite likely be available at the TDL. Would he re-sign at a reasonable number? He would add what we currently lack up front.

I brought Maroon and a couple of other guys up earlier...just as possiblities because the lack of scoring has been what's killing this team. How many 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2 games can you lose. There's been debate, but as someone mentioned the reality on the backend is you've got a bunch of kids learning on the fly here and that's going to take time - it's not going to happen over night.

Next season the only d-men I’d like to see return are Keith, Seabrook, Murphy and Forsling. Oesterle could return if he’s the 7th d-man. Gus, Kempny and Rutta can all go.
