With this terrible season we should give archie a look this year.

I dont care about cost but I do about term. 1-3 years is fine as we have to wait for some of these prospects to take the next step. Id be open to Hansen coming back, a big heavy 4th line center to hopefully replace Sutter who can moved this deadline and then hopefully one more winger that can play a bottom 9 role, but that can actually play(like a maroon, dorsett type)

I would be ok doing 1 of those, 2 maybe if cap goes up like predicted. We can always bury one or both in minors and 1.25 million(roughly) of the cap hit would be buried.

Do as many of these moves as possible.

We need to load up on picks. The quicker we load up the quicker the players will be in the NHL.

Although, Id like to completely overhaul the team.

Deadline: Tanev, Gud, Sven, Vanek, Nielson, Biega, Dowd and Sutter all gone.

Draft: Edler, Goldobin(or package him with any above player for a better pick)

UFAs: Go all in on Brickley and make him number 1 priority, hopefully land another NCAA free agent and one of the defensemen out of the SHL. Sign some veteran Defense and solid forwards who bring toughness. You could at least sign vets to 3 year deals while some of these kids develop especially on defense.

Team bottom of the league as is so may as well get what we can from this group and assemble a new group who plays a tougher game.
