Ryan Biech > J.D. Burke

That's good hate though. Where's Lefty?

- manvanfan

Ya Biech is pretty solid

3 plates a side, 315lbs. And his technic isn’t good, using his hips and legs to lift.

Still a lot of weight for a 20yr old

They have great respect around the league. OF course other teams players want them back, they are easy to play against!
- manvanfan

There teammates want them back, boeser interview at the all star game was asked about the sedins and guess what he said there not top line guys anymore for sure but there valuble 3rd liners like they were before the injuries hit.

I haven't seen any statements lately that I feel like writing down.

Looking at what is down, Redmile made a claim that Mike Smith would be top 5 in wins, then back tracked a bit and said top 10.

I believe that Smith is 7th in wins right now. Not bad.

I predict Jim Benning isnt re-signed but Linden signs the twins incase the kids arent ready and they still finish bottom five next year.

I would rather Canucks take that 10 mil and

Sustr 3.0 x4

Winnik 1.25 x 1

Grabner 3.5 x 2

Sceviour 2x 1.75

Sustr 3.75 x4

Winnik 1.25 x 1

Grabner 3.5 x 2

Sceviour 2x 1.75

Sustr is a healthy scratch lots. He's worse then Guds. Way worse.

I like Winnik. I'd give him 2 years.

My thoughts on the Grabner signing are

(frank) Sceviour.

I had changed Sustr to 3 mil but you were too quick

The point is you can be younger faster tougher and fill more holes with 10 mil

according to J.D. Burke of The Athletic (subscription required). The scribe begins by pointing out that the Sedin’s decision will have major implications to the salary cap and the look of the team. The cost to retain both soon-to-be 38-year-old forwards will be about $10MM, estimates Burke, who adds the team would have to make a decision whether to keep Vanek with the team.

If the Sedin’s stay, will Benning look for assets that might benefit the veteran Sedins, rather than focus on the team’s need to rebuild. FFS

Does he provide any quotes our is that number what he thinks they're worth? Because they did say they would take a5 million discount which would put their salary at 2.5 each.

5 million each you let them know,
it's time to go.
5 million split two ways,
They're here to stay.

Burke is not the only media suggesting J P Barrie is trying to squeeze the Canucks . There is a list and some even suggesting multiple years. The last quote from the twins was we are 37 not 43

I am fine with signing them but at a discount otherwise see ya, if they sign them at 5 million each I will be pissed like most of us, 2 to 3 million each and if they don't take it then don't sign them but we know that wont happen, if they come back they will set the price and management will do it, if its anymore than 3 million I am done.

I think he should be back for another year or two, but feel that FA is going to fire/not re-sign him and hire someone else for a completely different "direction".

Madman said he'd quit if the twins resigned.
Lefty said he'd move to Arizona if they traded pucks for players.
Vantel said he wouldn't female dog about the twins resigning (wouldn't like it) and hasn't stopped since
Don lifts bro, since 16, codes one upped him at 13.
I was so poor I tied two 5 gallon buckets filled with sand to a steel bar and started carrying that around when i was 13 or so.

TB doesn't need a big tough Dman they had Hedman and Colburn . Canucks have no one filling that role

5 million each I drive them to the curb.
4 million, base salary of 2 million, 2 million in performer bonuses, I'm down.

Sweet, i wonder if they'll give a long term discount for a 6 year contract, 3.5m x 6?
