Those aren’t 45’s. I’m positive - no kid his size has ever benched 405 15 reps. Impossible. I do some Olympic lifting and a few of those plates are 10 pounds

Edit. Rewatched- focus on the right side. There are only 3 plates which means the max it would be is 315. Given the different widths I suspect he has 245 total. Still very impressive but he needs to work on that form

What does team Canada have to do with Kole Lind? I'm not going to list the amount of awesome world junior players that turned out to be complete NHL duds.

Love seeing kids lift weights at this age and not wait until they are mid 20s like i did. Kid plays a strong physical game too. May not turn out to be anything other than a AHL kid but i like his game

Here is whats going to happen, benning and linden get fired and new management trades all our top prospects to win now. Everyone will be happy with the firing then turn on new management once the trading starts. I get the feeling canuck fans love turmoil should this should work

The Canucks are on the lookout for a bottom-six power forward, reports Postmedia’s Ben Kuzma. In particular, they’re looking to replace winger Derek Dorsett, who got off to a strong start to his season before being forced to retire with lingering neck issues.  Vancouver doesn’t appear to have an internal replacement so they will likely have to turn to free agency to try to find someone that fits the bill although finding one that had the offensive upside that Dorsett showed at times will be difficult.

Agreed, Jamie Benn was a 5th round pick so when we traded Pouliot for a 4th it was basically like trading Benn Plus a B level prospect for Pouliot.
