I read the article saying he was on the block. I really dont care if he is or isnt.
Pronman lattest has him at 19th best in the league and Petterson at 10. Thats similar, do I agree with the rankings no. But they arent that far off was my original point. - mauryballstein
Pronman is way, way off. Peterson is top 2 on that list, like I said he's worth the return we got for burrows. Basically Lind. |

Thats actually really impressive. God damn. Unless my eye site is wrong, thats a 405lb bench. - Codes1087
Unless they aren't 45 lbs plates. Yeah 405 for 15 is unbelievable. |

Trymakin was the most impactful player on D other than Tanev & Edler, and more valuable (when he played) than Hutton, Stecher, MDZ, or DP is today. He was big enough that he could more than hold his own against anyone...he just didn't play with the edge that WD thought he should. He came to the Canucks out of shape, so slow out of the gate, but finished strong and has built on that in the K.
I'd definitely look to bring him back for a mid-length deal, maybe 4 X 4m, throw in a signing bonus which gets him out of the KHL. He'd be making as much (or more) than Tanev (4m), less than Edler (6). MDZ is at 3.0, Hutton 2.8, DP 0.8, Stech at 0.9m - SlightlyOffside
I could live with 4x5, rather 3.5 x 4 or 4x3... but... |

if he's ready great - VanHockeyGuy
I had a random thought about that the other day. JG was signed to his ELC before Jan 1st so he could go to Utica next year and the extra year of waivers right. So the question is Why wasn't Lind signed?
I may have come up with the answer. Van thinks Lind is much more ready for the NHL and don't feel the need for the extra year. |

3 plates a side, 315lbs. And his technic isn’t good, using his hips and legs to lift.
Still a lot of weight for a 20yr old |

That bunch doesn't look much better then the current bunch
What bout your boy Chatfield? Gunnarsson to protect EP. - manvanfan

Pronman lost all credibility when he ranked Gabe Vilardi higher then EP. |

A lot of ppl forget about both Chatfield and Brisebois. As long as Van is patient they both have potential to be NHL’ers |

What does team Canada have to do with Kole Lind? I'm not going to list the amount of awesome world junior players that turned out to be complete NHL duds.
That's why I referred to Kole Lind not needing an extra year of waivers then Gadjovich. |

I can't really tell in the video but it looks like one large plates a 45 lb plate and then two other plates. They could be 45, 35, 25, 10's Olympic size plates are all the same size. He's probably cranking out 200 lbs plus at least which 15 times is still really impressive. Most guys at the draft combine bench 70% of their body weight for 10 reps max.
Van's next Anton Cenderholm (hopefully a better hockey playing version) |

Or Linds camp chose not to sign. A more likely scenario |
